Rolltek Celebrates 20 Year Anniversary This July!
Rolltek are delighted to be celebrating our 20-year trading anniversary in July 2022. A lot can happen in two decades, and our wheels have kept turning during a global financial crisis, the coming of age of ecommerce, the rise of social media, and a world-changing pandemic. Despite challenging times, we’ve kept smiling. Here are a few of our favourite memories!
Keeping the automotive industry rolling
In July 2012 Rolltek began designing and supplying heavy duty industrial castors to customers in the automotive industry. Clients include MANUFACTURER, who have benefitted from the guaranteed quality that we achieve in our extensive testing facilities. Moving forwards, Rolltek is continuing to lead the way towards improved safety within the industry.
Making unstable trolleys a thing of the past
Design and material excellence are of central importance to intensively used rolling stock, with low quality wheels and castors often leading to instability and safety issues. With over 100 years of combined experience, our team of engineers have pushed for greater durability, stability, and reliability in castors and wheels for shops, hospitals, catering, and manufacturing.
Challenging noise pollution
As traction systems, wheels can be significant contributors to noise pollution, especially in the automotive, aerospace, and construction industries. Even in supermarkets, noisy wheels can be a disturbance.
At Rolltek, we’ve helped to keep the peace by making it our mission to create high-quality solutions that reduce rolling noise, including wheel shape optimisation, damping, and shock absorption. In 2022, we were delighted to be awarded the Quiet Mark Awardfor our efforts.
Fully automated stock management
Navigating a company through the shift to digital has had some unexpected benefits. One of the changes for Rolltek was our decision to adopt a fully automated stock management system. By improving efficiency at multiple levels, we’ve seen our clients benefit from neater supply chains, guaranteed next-day delivery, and lower costs.
